Calling all spare gear
Last year we told you about ‘Gift Your Gear’, the award-winning initiative encouraging donations of unwanted outdoor equipment and clothing. This March the scheme returns again, asking all of us to recycle our gear for a fantastic cause.
The donated kit is distributed to UK community organisations, youth groups and charities working with young people in the outdoors, providing young people with the opportunity to benefit from life changing experiences in the outdoors.
This year Gift Your Gear has again partnered with Rohan, the outdoor and travel clothing company. Between 1 – 31 March unwanted waterproofs, fleeces, outdoor trousers, insulated jackets, hats and gloves – all regardless of brand – can be donated at Rohan stores across the UK. Donations will earn you 15% off purchases made in store on the same day.
So dig out those gloves and waterproofs you haven’t touched in a few years and help young people across the UK experience the joy of the outdoors!
