These leather boots are similar to the Meindl Toronto ones except that, oddly, where the Torontos look narrow but aren’t the Tibers look wide but aren’t. In fact they are much too narrow for me, which is a shame as otherwise they are perfectly adequate. The sole grips well, the cushioning is fine, the toe and heel are reinforced and the lacing holds the boots in place well. Whilst they flex at the forefoot laterally they are quite rigid and so good for traversing steep terrain and edging in snow. The foam inside the ankle and tongue probably means they’ll be a little warm in hot weather. The price is on the low side for this type of boot. If you have narrow feet they are worth considering.
