A quick look at Suunto’s new wristwatch navigation device
The Traverse is, according to Suunto, intended to offer a simple to use form of satellite navigation for “aspiring outdoor enthusiasts.” Combined with the Suunto Movescount App, this £284 stainless steel watch offers route planning and tracking along with speed, altitude and distance measurement, and its adjustable backlight gives it the potential to be used as a torch for night time tent rummaging. It has a stated battery life of around 100 hours and is available in a range of colours.
