Designed especially for UK conditions the TarpTent Scarp 1 is a roomy stable single hoop tent with the option of using two crossover poles for winter conditions. Each end of the Scarp has two double poles and one short pole, which really aid stability. Unusually for a solo tent there are two porches, providing excellent ventilation when both are open and meaning that there’s always a sheltered door. The total weight without crossover poles is 1326 grams, which is light for a tent like this. I’ve used the Scarp on two TGO Challenges as well as shorter trips and it’s always performed well.
