There are three stages to choose from with talks from a line-up of explorers and adventurers who’ve returned from travels around the UK and across the globe by sail, foot, kayak, bus and bike.

The HX Adventure Travel Theatre, sponsored by HX Hurtigruten Expeditions, will host a line-up of travellers and adventurers who will be sharing their inspiring stories and expert advice on how to have your own extraordinary global journey. Speakers include Phoebe Smith, a regular contributor to The Great Outdoors who has recently walked the Kumano Kodo trail – Japan’s answer to the Caminos of Europe.

Katie Leigh of HX Hurtigruten Expeditions said: “We are thrilled to partner with the Adventure Travel Show this year – it’s always such a vibrant and valuable event for the entire industry. Whether you’re planning your own adventure or working in travel, it’s an event not to be missed.”

The Clipper Race Discovery Stage is where you’ll get practical advice on your next trip. The line up includes TGO Reader Award 2025 winner, Paul ‘Warrior Walker’ Harris, and previous winner Bex Band, the founder of Love Her Wild. The line-up also boasts Emma Thomson, Richard Harpham, Jane Wilson-Howarth, James Glancy, Carlton Reid. Other highlights are set to include a talk from Rebecca Lowe who wrote the book Slow Road to Tehran about her solo ride from London to Iran Sahir Permall on her Adventure Queens-funded ride from Scotland to Turkey.

For those working in the industry, The Adventure Travel Show also provides exhibitors a prime opportunity to engage with their target audience during peak booking season and connect with influential adventure speakers and industry leaders.

With over 100 organisations already confirmed to exhibit — such as Exodus Travel, Latin Routes, Newfoundland Tourism Board, The Bucket List Company, Belize Tourism, Albatros Expeditions, Madeira, Algarve and Azores from Portugal Tourism and more — the 2025 edition is set to be the largest and most exciting in the show’s 25-year history.
