The aim is to appeal to alpinists who just want something that’s light and durable. As it comes, the bag weighs 1.36kg, but can be further lightened to 1kg by removing the extendable top lid, the hipbelt and also the aluminium frame. Alongside this, to withstand any snagging, draggging or ice axe stabbing it’s made from a 400DD ripstop nylon and the floor is reinforced with 500D Cordura.
