The new ‘Journey’ collection includes four tents. Each has a flysheet hydrostatic head of 4,000mm. In addition to durable bathtub groundsheets, the tents include tailored footprints to provide extra protection where required. The inners are constructed using no-see-um mesh for protection against midges and mosquitos.
While these tents are not among the lightest, they appear well designed and are available at attractive price points.
Journey Solo (one person), £109.95 / 1.9kg
This model is a lightweight and durable one-person tent. It features a waterproof fly which can be easily removed to allow the net inner to be used by itself on warmer nights.
Journey Duo (two person), £165.95 / 3.2kg
The Journey Duo is a practical two-person tent with a low-profile design, claimed to perform well in high winds. It also has ample storage thanks to a decent front porch.
Journey Trio (three person), £199.95 / 4kg
A compact and practical three-person dome tent. The extended porch and dome design creates a roomy interior.
Journey Quad (four person), £269.95 / 5.4kg
This model offers a generous sleeping area for up to four people, with an ‘extended living compartment’ (i.e. massive porch). The Quad is a fly-first-pitch design and is built for longer trips, base camps, and weekend breaks.
