A solid fabric boot with a fairly stiff sole ,the V3s are quite low in price but quite high in weight. The uppers have quite a few seams, including some at vulnerable points. The toe and heel are both hard. The sole grips well but the heel can clog with mud. Cushioning is okay under the heel but not so good at the forefoot. The footbed is flat, with no pretence at support, and covered in fleece for warmth. The fit is on the tight side and they are too narrow for me. The membrane makes the boots quite warm overall.
