These are lovely gloves – comfortable, waterproof and well designed with no unnecessary or fussy features. They are thick and very warm yet, due to the use of supple leather and stretch softshell fabric, they allow reasonable dexterity. The lack of Velcro straps and buckles means they have a clean look, the only feature being the wrist drawcord, which can be operated with one hand. The wide gauntlet means they’ll fit over bulky sleeves. The leather covers the whole of the palm and the thumb and most of the fingers with no seams on the fingertips. The gloves are lined with fleece that feels instantly warm when you put them on. If you’ll be out in extreme cold for long periods and want gloves that’ll keep your hands warm and allow you to do things with them these gloves are excellent. However they are expensive and quite heavy.
