The NEO is simple yet effective

A single switch allows you to change between light, soft light (which is perfect for in-tent reading) and blinking. It also has a flashing red light on the back for safety.

At 88g it’s a comfortable fit, although you’ll need to readjust the placement of the slightly chunky battery pack on the back of the head if you’re using the torch while lying down.
