Daniel Neilson tests out a diverse range of base layers. On test Helly Hansen Baselayer
Despite the pretty lurid colour scheme (they’re not all like that) this Helly Hansen is a good baselayer. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s very comfortable on the skin. I like the long half-length zip. It wicks really well thanks to the patterning. There’s a good stretch and it moves well with the body. It’s one of the looser fit tops here.
