Our mountaineering reviewer, Kirk Watson, climbed high in the snow-covered Cairngorms to review the best two-person tents. On test Wild Country Trisar 2D tent
The Wild Country Trisar outshone all the other tents in speed and ease of putting it up and down. The pole sleeves are perfect and the poles easily slip in and can be pulled quickly out when you take it down rather than having to push them out slowly like all other tents.
It pitches beautifully with perfect taut outer and inner, and the pegs were perfect being very kind to your hands even in the hardest ground. It has a front and back porch just big enough to use. The inner is designed well and has several pockets, plus a bit to hang a torch off and is easily ventilated and midge proof. The tent is bombproof to the weather basically a great tent.
